NUC B1000
Nucleonics is currently developing NUC B1000, an experimental, therapeutic candidate designed to treat chronic hepatitis B viral infection, utilizing RNAi. In May 2007, the FDA allowed clinical trials to proceed under Nucleonics' Investigational New Drug application. A Phase 1 clinical trial has been initiated at two sites in the United States (San Francisco, Chicago) and two sites in Eastern Europe. Additional sites in the United States are anticipated to be activated in 2008.
