Since its inception, Nucleonics has raised $50.8 million through two successful venture capital financings. The Company's $1.6 million Series A venture capital financing was led by SR One and closed on November 21, 2001. New Enterprise Associates led the Company's $49.2 million Series B venture financing that closed on May 27, 2004. Additionally, Nucleonics has also been the beneficiary of a $1.6 million multi-year grant awarded by the National Institutes of Health in 2003. The grant supports certain aspects of the Company's HBV therapeutic development program.
